* Lost I-94 *
As one of the requirements to apply for your green card in the United States through the filing of a Form I-485 Application to Adjust Status, you must prove that you were lawfully admitted or paroled after inspection by an immigration officer.
There are options available for you if you have lost the passport used to enter the United States along with your I-94.
Individuals who entered the United States by sea or air beginning May 2013 can obtain and print a copy of their I-94 record from www.cbp.gov/I94. However, individuals who entered the United States prior to May 2013, can obtain a replacement I-94 by:
- Filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with U.S. Customs and Border Protection for a copy of your I-94 entry records
- Filing an Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival-Departure Document with U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services
Law MJ Kim LLC can assist you and your family members in applying for a replacement I-94. If you have any questions about this or any other immigration related questions, please contact us to speak with an Attorney at Law MJ Kim LLC.
