After spending more than 40 years in the United States without lawful status, Attorney Moonjung Jenny Kim was able to successfully obtain a waiver of the two-year home residency requirement for EK from USCIS based on exceptional hardship. This paved the path for EK to become a Permanent Resident of the United States.
